T cell exhaustion is the dysfunction of T cells caused by prolonged antigen stimulation. In chronic infections and cancer, T cells are exposed to persistent antigen and/or inflammatory signals.

The ability to simulate T cell exhaustion problem-solution scenarios is essential to provide further insight into this phenomenon.
