One-Step Clarification and Sterile Filtration of Cell Cultures
Sartoclear Dynamics® Lab kits are designed for rapid harvesting 15 mL to 1,000 mL volumes of cell cultures in the lab, enabling clarification and sterile filtration to be performed in one step. These kits simplify the process by fully eliminating the centrifugation step otherwise needed for clarification. As a result, up to 1,000 mL cell cultures can be efficiently clarified and sterilized in minutes – quickly and easily.
This video provides a detailed walkthrough of the purification process, starting from cell lysis all the way to obtaining a concentrated retentate. It highlights the use of a clarification step employing Sartoclear Dynamics®️ Lab to eliminate larger contaminants such as cells and cell debris. Following this, an ultrafiltration step using Vivaflow®️ is demonstrated to concentrate the AAV particles and further cleanse the preparation of smaller impurities.
