The second-generation Octet® AMC2 Biosensors enable scientists to extend the usage of the anti-mouse capture biosensors to applications such as measurement of high antibody titer (a critical quality attribute), hybridoma screening, kinetic characterization, epitope binning or diversity assays. This application note discusses how the Octet® AMC2 Biosensor can support different stages in antibody development workflows such as early phase discovery, cell-line development, process development and manufacturing. AMC2 Biosensors were developed to serve as a single biosensor for use in both quantitation and kinetics applications. Further, the application note presents and discusses the results of a series of experiments performed at Sartorius and customer sites evaluating the performance of the AMC2 Biosensors and comparing their use with the first generation anti-mouse biosensor (AMC Biosensors) in kinetics applications.
