Beatson Institute’s experience of Incucyte® Service, Support and Instrument Reliability
David Strachan, from Beatson Institute for Cancer Research Scotland, manages a multi-user, multi-group, Live-Cell Imaging and Analysis Core Facility. He has six Incucyte®s for a large number of users of varying requirements.
David places a high value on customer support and says “the engineering team has been fantastic”.
This is partly due to:
1. The self-diagnosis options of the software.
2. Engineers being able to be emailed log-files and other details, in advance of a visit.
3. How engineers have always brought the required replacement part on their visits.
4. Very good on-site product training when the instrument was obtained.
5. No loss of data with a user-installed back-up system.
6. Annual advance cleaning option, with preventive maintenance.
