Sartorius offers media for pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) and mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), as well as ancillary products for the culture process from isolation to expansion and differentiation finished with cryopreserved cells.
Media can keep PSCs undifferentiated for at least 50 passages and MSCs for at least 6 passages.

Totipotent stem cells: Totipotent (omnipotent) stem cells can differentiate into any of the 220 cell types found in an embryo as well as extra-embryonic cells (placenta).Pluripotent stem cells: Pluripotent stem cells can differentiate into all cell types of the body (but not the placenta). Embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent cells are under this potency.Multipotent stem cells: Multipotent stem cells can develop into a limited number of cell types in a particular lineage. MSCs are under this potency.
