Features

State-of-the-Art Laminar Flow Technology

The Incubator FlowBox provides sterile working conditions within the hood by using a HEPA filtered, vertical laminar airflow. Smart air speed and exhaust control provides sterility and protects samples even when access doors are opened.   Cabinet surfaces are sterilized with integrated, high-energy UV-C lamps.

Stable and Controlled Environment

The Incubator FlowBox provides a precise, controlled environment for long-term studies or kinetic imaging of sensitive cells. Temperature, CO2 and humidity levels are maintained in real-time within the working area, ensuring optimal cell viability in both source and destination plates. In lab-on-chip or organ-on-chip systems, the entire experimental set up – including pumps and tubes, to imaging equipment, to the chips - themselves can be placed inside the box. The Incubator FlowBox therefore offers tremendous benefits over traditional stage-top incubators with limited workspaces.

Increased Work Efficiency

A user-friendly control panel provides full control over all features including temperature and humidity, and sliding doors allow full access to instruments and experiments within the cabinet while maintaining the controlled physiological environment. All doors can be fully opened for easy cleaning, maintenance, and installation of larger instruments or experiment setups. The base stand is mounted on wheels for easy movement of the entire set up within the lab, and includes a water tank, PC workstation and other accessory modules.

Customizability

The Incubator FlowBox can be adapted to a variety of automation systems, laboratory equipment and research projects, and can be easily customizable to include custom door layouts and hypoxia features, as well as additional protection and accessibility through glove modules.
